Question 1

What is Cook's Clock?

Accepted Answer

Cook's Clock is a meal-timing app. You set one serving time and it staggers the start of every component so the whole meal is ready together, still hot.

Question 2

Is Cook's Clock free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Planning meals and cooking in sync is free. Premium adds AI recipe generation, shopping lists, and a few other conveniences.

Question 3

How does the timing work?

Accepted Answer

Add each component with its timed steps, then pick when you want to serve. Cook's Clock works backwards from that moment and tells you when to start each dish.

Question 4

What if I only have one oven?

Accepted Answer

Cook's Clock is kitchen-aware. It paces the plan around the shared kit you actually own and flags any clashes.

Question 5

Can I import a recipe from a link?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste a recipe URL or the recipe text and Cook's Clock turns it into a timed, multi-component meal plan. Recipe import is a Premium feature.

Question 6

Can I share a meal with a friend?

Accepted Answer

Send the whole plan to a friend. They open it, set their own serving time, and cook the same meal in sync.

Question 7

What is a template?

Accepted Answer

A template is a reusable meal plan. Save a meal you cook often and start from it next time instead of rebuilding it.

Question 8

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Your meals are yours. Only you can see and edit the meals you create, and Cook's Clock never shares them without you choosing to send them.
